Paul founded the company in 2007 after working as a sole practitioner since 2000. He is a graduate of Plymouth University with a Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture, and is a Chartered Architect with over 25 years of practical and site based experience. Paul started his career in London working for a well known national Architectural Practice as a project architect on prestigious projects in London, Reading and Oxford.
Upon leaving London, Paul began working as a sole practitioner and spent many years working with the BMW Group for BMW, Rolls Royce and MINI as well as an active involvement in residential projects. During this time, Paul has attained a wealth of knowledge in commercial and residential markets and can offer advice on all aspects of the construction industry.
Sarah joined AKT Planning and Architecture as a Director in 2009. She is a graduate of Oxford Brookes University, with a First Class Degree and Post Graduate Diploma in Planning Studies, and is a Chartered Town Planner with over 20 years public and private sector experience.
Sarah began her career in Local Authority including Cherwell District Council, Aylesbury Vale District Council and South Northamptonshire Council gaining valuable Development Control experience as a Senior Planning Officer. Sarah has worked as a private planning consultant since 2000 and has advised on a large number of appraisals, applications, appeals, enforcement matters and strategic allocations.
